Looking for a trusted daycare in Barrie? At Lakeland Child Care, we’re proud to offer high-quality, play-based early learning in a caring and supportive environment where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.
We are a licensed early learning program in Barrie, Ontario, operating two CWELCC-participating centres that are conveniently located for easy commuting access, with one in the north-end of Barrie and one in the south. Each one is designed to support toddlers and preschoolers during these important early years.

Programs We Offer
Lakeland Child Care provides full-day daycare programs designed specifically for toddlers and preschoolers.
Toddler Program
(1.5 – 2.5 years)
Our toddler program focuses on nurturing independence, language development, and social skills in a warm, predictable setting. Educators support routines, curiosity, and early problem-solving while allowing plenty of time for play and movement.
Preschool Program
(2.5 – 4 years)
Our preschool program helps children build confidence, friendships, and school readiness through play-based learning. Activities are designed to encourage creativity, cooperation, early learning skills, and a love of discovery.
In limited circumstances, children between 12–18 months may be considered within the toddler program, subject to availability and program considerations.
